Rajasthan is one of the most historically significant places in India, and there are several forts, such as the Ranthambore Fort, that bear testimony to their glorious rule. In fact, Ranthambore Fort is one of the oldest, most magnificent and most representative forts made by the Rajputs in all of Rajasthan. Built during the 12th century by the royal Chauhan family, this fort is also a World Heritage Site, as declared by UNESCO. The Trinetra Ganesh Temple is one of the oldest temples in India, built with red Karauli stone. It is situated inside the premises of the Ranthambore Fort, which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in all of Rajasthan. Jogi Mahal is referred to as one of the places in Rajasthan where tigers used to rule. This is because of its close proximity to the hub of tigers - Ranthambore National Park. The Mahal is located at a distance of 500 meters from the Ranthambore Fort. It is considered as one of the oldest heritage buildings in exanse of Ranthambore. The Mahal made its way as a hunting resort for the royal families. The royal family used to spend some time at the Jogi Mahal in the course of their hunting expedition to the nearby forests of Ranthambore.
It helps to understand the diversity of earth as well. There are three floors in the museum but the visitors have access only to the ground floor where 'Biodiversity of Rajasthan or Forests and Wildlife of Rajasthan' are mainly exhibited. The facsimile of animals such as chinkara (gazelle), leopard, lion, and tiger are the main attractions along with the collection of village dioramas of the Bishnoi community and Rajasthan rural area.
Tourists love to visit this national park in Ranthambore to head out on jungle safaris into the dense forest. In addition to this, you can enjoy various other adventures here too including nature walks through the lush green forest trails and bird watching tours to various important hotspots.
A crocodile safari in Ranthambore focuses on the National Chambal Gharial Sanctuary, a separate area about 45 kilometers away from the main Ranthambore National Park, according to travel sites. This sanctuary is known for its gharials and crocodiles, as well as diverse birdlife and other wildlife. You can take a boat ride on the Chambal River to observe these creatures in their natural habitat.
